Originally from Devon, Danielle Senior is now based in London having spent part of her childhood in Norway, Scandinavia. She has become a sought after vocalist & songwriter, notable for her versatile writing style.
Danielle began her career as an artist signed to AATW/Universal. Since then she has written & featured on a string of dance/pop crossover tracks, including “Chasing Shadows”, for the legendary dance producer/DJ Michael Gray. Released on Transmission Records, “Chasing Shadows” was championed as a Cool Cut and peaked at no.15 in the charts. Danielle has also enjoyed success as the lead writer & vocalist behind Dutch production group AurA. Together their releases made waves throughout the UK & Europe, with “Every Emotion” reaching no.17 in the UK Music Upfront Club Chart. The follow up “Wearing My Shoes” was signed to N.E.W.S Records for Benelux, & Andorfine in Germany respectively, with both releases licensed on various compilations throughout Europe and the East Coast of America. Other artist collaborations & credits include Plan B, Wretch 32, & True Tiger. More recently Danielle has worked with Say Lou Lou and Dominique Young Unique, most known for her feature on DJ Fresh VS Diplo's chart smash "Earthquake".
As a writer, Danielle is unique in the sense that she spans most genres of music. Songwriting credits include the hit “Honeytrap”, for Asian Superstar Jolin Tsai, which peaked at number 3 in the national charts. As the lead single from Jolin’s album “Myself”, it helped catapult the album to no.1 for several weeks. The album became the fourth biggest selling album in Asia in that year. During this time Danielle also wrote “Safety Net” for Lin Yu Chun, dubbed Asia’s Susan Boyle. “Safety Net” was also used as part of a government campaign for peace. Other credits include MTV’s tv show ‘Awkward’ in the US, ‘The Voice’ in Belgium, ‘The Voice of China’ and Queensberry for Popstars Germany, amongst countless other song placements throughout Europe and Asia.
Danielle has worked with Labrinth (Tinie Tempah, Emile Sande), Tim Powell (Little Mix, Paloma Faith), Cutfather (The Saturdays, Kylie Minogue), and counts former Cheiron member & multi- platinum world-class songwriter/producer Andreas Carlsson as a collaborator (Britney Spears, Katy Perry).
Danielle has attended the Phrased Differently writing camp in Stockholm, the Waterfall camp in Oslo, and the notoriously selective D'Pop in Denmark. She currently works between London UK, Scandinavia and Los Angeles. Danielle is also a trained contemporary dancer, has a first-class degree in English Literature, and has studied Speech and Drama for the Prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
